Get your funny pants on, Boston: the Women in Comedy Festival is taking over venues across the city from April 19-23 to bring you show after show of top-tier comedy from around the country. It can be difficult to find things to laugh about these days, but trust us when we tell you that these comedians have you well taken care of.
We believe nothing goes better with comedy than beer, so naturally we’re bringing plenty of beer to all of the shows at The Rockwell and The Somerville Theater. You’ll see even more of us– and yes, even more beer– on closing night, as we’re putting on both the Festival Closing Show and Womanhood: Starring Aparna Nancherla and Jo Firestone on April 23. Aparna and Jo have both previously performed in our Tasting Room, so we’ll be there…unless we go over to the Closing Show. Or both. We’ll get back to you.
No matter which shows you choose (or run between), it’s sure to be one of Boston’s funniest weekends. Get out there and enjoy yourself; the real world can wait until the next workweek.
