In the spirit of being neighborly (and seizing the opportunity to get out of the office on a Friday), we here in the Marketing Department strive to take regular field trips to visit other local breweries, inventive beer bars and other similar-minded folks. Last Friday, we journeyed to Gowanus to visit our friends at Threes Brewing, a brand new brewery/rotating restaurant space/coffee shop located just a G train ride away from our desks.
Beers in hand, we joined Brewer Greg Doroski for a tour of the space. When we visited the brewhouse, we discovered that friend, brewer extraordinaire and all-around great guy Jeff “The Chief” O’Neill was in town to work on a collaboration beer. We also ordered from the rotating kitchen, at the time helmed by the teams from Buttermilk Channel and French Louie with an inventive New Orleans-inspired menu called Bywater.
Take a look inside our trip below, then get on planning your own visit to Threes. You can also find their beer in a handful of New York City bars, but really– get on the train and go.
