Washington, D.C. usually reminds people of American history and stuffy political news, but we’re heading there to focus on the food, beer and culture of one of our favorite cities. Join us for a week-long romp across the nation’s capital featuring dinners, parties, shows, feasts and more as part of this year’s Mash Tour. Check out the events below, then grab your tickets and start planning your trip.

Secret Supper with Dinner Lab: We can’t tell you where this dinner party is being held until the day before, or it would ruin the surprise. Suffice to say it’s going to be somewhere completely unexpected, and the menu is unbeatable. Tickets on sale soon.

Brooklyn Brewery and Timberland Present: The Lower Dens and Beverly: There’s no better way to swing into the last weekend of a Mash than with a free concert. All you have to do is let us know you’re coming and show up ready to party. Free RSVPs now open.

Three Headed Beast: Three chefs each cook a whole animal, fix up some side dishes, and you get to feast away with a beer in hand and live music in your ears. Plus, all proceeds from the festival benefit The Food Trust so everyone can share the bounty. Tickets: $35
